What were the causes of the Italian invasion of Abyssinia in 1935-36 and what where consequences intended for the League of Nations.

The invasion of Abyssinia happened in 1935-36 when Benito Mussolini, the Italian master invaded Abyssinia with no noticeable reason. It was a diplomatic crisis which showed the league was weak and was one of the primary failures, if not the largest which concluded Europe's serenity and allowed Italy to become more fascist and in the finish to best friend with Indonesia, dividing European countries in two and becoming two of the most powerful countries inside the time. Mussolini wanted to produce a modern both roman empire and gain groupe in Africa, therefore this individual thought that simply by invading Abyssinia was going to be able to expand his empire and he believed that having been going to find resources like oil which will help Italy cure the economic crisis and bring back the Italian language economy. He'd been working together with France and Britain in 1953 against Hitler thus he thought that if he invaded Abyssinia Britain and France would give him agreement, besides he thought he previously two perfect excuses to invade Abyssinia, first he wanted revenge for the defeat of Italy in 1896 in the battle of Adowa. Finally Mussolini already had problems against Abyssinia, since the Walwal incident, in which approximately 107 Ethiopians and 50 Italians were slain. Italy stated that his soldiers had been attacked and therefore he desired revenge and was going to get into Abyssinia. Following the Walwal episode took place, the emperor of Abyssinia Haile Selassie appealed to the group asking for settlement but the league's response was poor and shortly after this the Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) of International Affairs Calcul Laval of France and Foreign Admin Samuel Hoare met with Italian dictator Benito Mussolini in Rome and signed the Hoare-Laval pact.
